I went in for dinner. There not much variety and they put little by little. Seafood delight is good, the chicken was a bit salty. The dessert wasn’t much as it contains pre-scoop ice cream and few cakes and fruits.
My buddy and I meet every Wednesday for Chinese buffet it’s alway fresh and tasty and good. I can’t think of another sit down all you can it for $15 bucks. If they run out of an item on the buffet it’s filled back up usually within minutes. The new owner Carrie has cleaned the place up and all the changes are all positive. The buffet is a must if your out and about in Lockwood and in the evening my wife and I will go for dinner and order off the menu where there’s to much variety to list but so far it always very good. The customer service is excellent very friendly which is nice in this day and age.
We randomly craved chinese so we called in an order and ordered a couple combo meals. Normally they don't customize those. The owner made an exception because it was simple, no pork in the noodles and just white rice instead of fried. Apparently they have new owners. It was the best it's ever been since we've eaten there a few times before. For once they actually added plenty of variety of vegetables and not completely doused in sauce, which I love and look forward too in Chinese food. If you've had an experience there before and wasn't too impressed...I'd recommend trying again with the new staff!!! Good food, good service, friendly people and tons of leftovers. We will be back! Thanks Jins cooks and staff, you did a good job!
Understandably there was not much put on the buffet at once because of the hour and that made EVERYTHING as fresh as could be!!!! Service was awesome, I ate here two nights in a row... No complaints at all, even though my belly aches from eating toooo much...
I’d give it 3.5 stars. The place is okay for the fact that it’s an endless buffet. We came for dinner $18. Decent selection of food but not a wide array. 10 or so meats, 2 soups, and 2 sides (3 if you count french fries). Salmon did not look like salmon, looked and tasted like a white fish less fatty than salmon. Desserts were literally so dry and ice cream was pre scooped sitting out in the freezer no cover. The food was somewhat warm not hot. I understand they don’t want to create a lot of food waste but we came in a bit after 5pm, more than 3 hours before closing and they pretty much only put out small batches of each dish. Also a decent amount of customers eating so I feel like they should have put our way more food. Literally one or two servings of rice or noodles and when we originally got there, there was no rice at all so we had to wait more than halfway though our meal to get a decent side to eat with the meat. The cooks come out very often and just mix the food together and scoop it to the center of the pan to make it appear more full but didn’t replenish any food until it was completely gone. The mushroom chicken and pepper steak were my favorite, didn’t really like anything else honestly. The pepper shrimp would have been great but they don’t clean the poop out the back of them so we didn’t want to eat them. The rice was only good with soy sauce added, a little dry and very tasteless otherwise which was disappointing considering we waited 30 minutes for it to come out. Only pork fried rice so if you don’t eat pork you’re only left with noodles as a side option. Noodles were way better tasting though. Normally we go to a buffet and eat several plates especially my husband but I really only bothered with a single plate. The waitress was very nice however and kept our drinks refilled and plates cleared.
